Ingredients
  

Salad
  • 2 cucumbers thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup red onion thinly sliced
Dressing
  • 1/4 cup white vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill chopped (optional)

Method
 

  1. Combine cucumbers and red onion in a bowl.
  2. Whisk vinegar, sugar, water, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl until sugar dissolves.
  3. Pour dressing over cucumbers and onion; toss.
  4. Stir in dill, if using.
  5. Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.

Notes

For a sweeter salad, add a bit more sugar to the dressing. You can also use other herbs like parsley or mint.
